The Band- Rage Against The Machine, The Story - ......
Undoubtedly Rage Against The Machine are one of the most inspirational bands in the history of rock! They started in the world of rock with an absolute bang with such a succesful, self-titled debut album. Some of My Personal Highlights are "Freedom" and "Killing In The Name" 2 name but a few. The Debut Album Showed Rage were the band capable of accomplishing what many had already tried, but failed. Combining the Rock Genre with with the Rap Genre with success. However, Rage did it with more than Success, they did it with class and nothing but!!!

It has come to my attention that some people believe Rage have Split up, just because Zack left doesnt mean they have split up, they obviously took a break from things whilst finding the replacement for Zack De La Rocha, which I know most of you will agree thats some hard boots to fill, and not just cos hes gots big feet! So therefore, it had to be a man with alot of respect that filled these boots, there was alot of talk of B.Real from cypress filling the gap because of his rap style. However, the successor emerged as none other than Chris Cornell which came as quite a shock to me

For those of you who dont know, Chris COrnell was the former frontman of rock legends Soundgarden who did such classics as "Black Hole Sun, "Pretty Noose and "Jesus Christ Pose. Chris's style was a big reason for my shock, as many of you who are aware of Soundgarden will now its nothing like the existing Rage material! So What happens from here? Do Rage try and continue with their existing style, and try to get Chris Cornell to rap, or perhaps also employ a different rapper as another frontman, to cover the loss. Or Perhaps Rage, scrap everything they have done in the past and start a fresh!

Fortunately, whatever Rage decide to do, I was able to witness them in their former glory in person. Infact I did only see them once, but then again, it was their last EVER gig, so you'll have to forgive me 4 not seeing them again :p but what can I say, without a doubt in my opinion, they were the best band there, with the only people coming near them being the Deftones, Limp Bizkit, and Slipknot! ok, so Slipknot are the biggest pile a wank 2 cross the land, but Rage, Rage were Amazing, nuff sed!
